Safe Haven provides a safe, culturally respectful environment for survivors of sexual assault, violence, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples-related trauma. Every participant is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
During these sessions, survivors can share their experiences, build strength through community, and access resources that support healing and recovery.
Our goal is to ensure that every survivor knows they are heard, believed, and supported.
Participants in Safe Haven receive:
- Confidential peer-to-peer support groups.
- Survivor-led healing discussions.
- Emotional support and advocacy services.
- Referrals to medical, legal, and counseling resources.
- Culturally grounded, trauma-informed care.
- Connection to the Dot Lake Village Sexual Assault Response Team (SART).
Safe Haven is open to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and trauma related to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP). Participation is voluntary, and privacy is strictly protected.
