The Native Village of Dot Lake

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

This position takes the lead on projects related to grant activities and other services provided by Dot Lake Village related to compliance for policies and procedures needed for victim services.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Functions Include but Are not Limited To:

  • Manage Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault victims’ services.
  • Experience in the Behavioral Health Field.
  • Work with Village staff to achieve the goals of leadership.
  • Organize and implement a schedule to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with medical partners to ensure best practices are being utilized for program.
  • Supervise all staff on the project.
  • Organize special events as assigned by leadership.
  • Take notes and distribute meeting agendas for weekly team and leadership meeting.

Communication:

  • Shares and receives information, opinions, concerns, and feedback with council.
  • Works collaboratively by building bridges and creating rapport with team members, tribal organizations, and entities on the state and federal level.
  • Works effectively with others as a member of a team.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • College Degree/Phd preferred
  • Experience working in DV/SA programs
  • Knowledge of tribal government administration
  • Familiar with budgets and reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with the traditional political, economic, social and cultural structure of Dot Lake is essential.
