Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor will be a therapist for the program.  The LCSW/LPC will conduct therapy sessions (individual, group, etc) and document the encounters in the electronic medical records system.

The LCSW/LPC will communicate with Village Leadership on the needs of the program and if required, additional outside counseling services or services for inpatient treatment.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Functions Include but Are not Limited To:

  1. Creates, develops and nurtures culturally appropriate interactions and connections with each other, customer-owners, and the community.
  2. Maintains cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customers.
  3. Responds to basic requests for internal/external customers and customer-owners following Core Concepts and maintains professional boundaries.
  4. Maintains confidentiality according to TeeJuh Policy & Procedure and related laws.

Communications and Teamwork:

  1. Shares and receives information, opinions, concerns and feedback in a supportive manner.
  2. Works collaboratively by building bridges and creating rapport with team members within departments and across the organization.

  4. Follows basic written and oral instructions.
  5. Attends and participates in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisor for performance check-ins.
  6. Supervises/mentors Victim Services Case Workers/Advocates.

  1. Makes meaningful improvement to services, program, and processes and/or organizational effectiveness that creates new value for customer-owners and employees.
  2. Participates in trainings and continuing education.

  3. Applies knowledge of the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) to ensure the privacy of individuals is protected to the fullest.
  4. Performs work in accordance with basic instructions and documented procedures.
  5. Lifts, carries and delivers mail, materials, equipment, furniture, etc. to and from appropriate destinations as needed.
  6. Dismantles and assembles work systems furniture as needed.
  7. Completes documentation associated with the work order process in a timely and accurate manner.
  8. Maintains compliance with all policies and procedures related to human resources, safety and other related policies and procedures.
  9. Available for on-call work and be able to adjust to a changing work schedule based on emergencies and scheduled maintenance activities.
  10. Responds calmly and effectively to requests, inquiries, and/or complaints.
  11. Completes tasks in a timely and professional manner to meet deadlines.
  12. Applies safety practices and principles in preventing and reporting accidents.
  13. Demonstrated coordination skills and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  14. Maintains quality, safety, and infection control standards.
